CONTINUING HEALTHCARE. 28.1 If you become eligible for NHS funded Continuing Healthcare (NHS CHC) the responsibility for your funding will move from the local authority to the NHS and you will no longer be required to pay a Service User Contribution or a Third Party Top-Up. However, it is possible that there will be a shortfall between the amount that the NHS is willing to pay and the full amount of our fees. This is because the NHS will fix the level of fees that it considers is sufficient to pay for the care and accommodation that you require. If you choose to live in a home that charges more than the amount the NHS is willing to pay, then the NHS is not necessarily obliged to fund the excess. In this situation we may require you to pay separately for the superior accommodation, services and facilities that the home provides, which amount to “additional services” that are outside the services and accommodation that the NHS is obliged to fund (“Additional Services”). However, you will not be obliged to pay for any Additional Services that you do not use or require. We also reserve the right to move you to an alternative room at a lower charge that is more in line with the amount that the NHS will fund. If no such alternative room is available, or if you decline the alternative room offered or are unable to pay for the Additional Services you wish to use, then we reserve the right to ask you to leave the home. In this event, you will be given at least 28 days’ notice

  • Continuing Professional Development The Official Agency shall provide appropriate training for staff performing official controls, enabling them to undertake their duties competently and to carry out official controls in a consistent manner, as per legislative requirements. The Official Agency shall identify training needs for staff performing official controls and ensure that staff carrying out official controls are kept up to date in their area of competence and develop specialised expertise, in partnership with the Authority and other Local Authorities. While the provision of training is the primary responsibility of the Official Agency, the Authority may provide training interventions where the Official Agency has highlighted areas where training is required. The Authority will endeavour to facilitate networking and collaboration with other Official Agencies to assist in improving knowledge in such areas. The Authority will provide e-learning resources and training for official control staff so as to promote a consistent understanding and application of new legislation, guidance or procedures, as appropriate. The Official Agency shall support participants in using e-learning resources, disseminating knowledge or skills acquired and encourage the application of learning gained through the Authority’s training in official control activities. The Official Agency shall ensure that contractors used in the performance of the Service Contract provide evidence of Continuous Professional Development and Compliance with this section. Where staff from the Official Agency need to travel outside the Official Agency functional area to attend training courses/meetings, this shall be facilitated by the Official Agency. The Official Agency in partnership with the Authority shall develop and implement training programmes for all staff engaged in the performance of the Service Contract. Where staff have participated in Better Training for Safer Food (BTSF) the training content shall be disseminated to relevant staff/contractors in the Official Agency and other local authorities in partnership with the Authority.

  • Healthcare Section 1. Bargaining unit employees with one (1) year or more of service will be provided coverage for the duration of this contract through the “Full Coverage” Team Care Plan (“Team Care MM200”), which includes dental, vision, life, short term disability, medical and prescription drug benefits. Prior to January 1, 2020, bargaining unit employees with less than one (1) year of service will be provided coverage through the “Medical Only” plan. On January 1, 2020, all bargaining unit employees enrolled in the Medical Only plan shall be enrolled in the Full Coverage plan, and the Medical Only plan will eliminated.   • Group Health Benefit Plans, Carrier and Premiums 7.1.1 When enrolment and other requirements for group participation in various plans have been met, the Employer will sponsor such plans to the portion agreed upon and such sponsorship shall not exceed that which is authorized or accepted by the benefit agency.

  • EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE 233. Pursuant to the Charter, the City contributes whatever rate is applicable per month directly into the City Health Service System for each employee who is a member of the Health Service System. Subsequent City contributions will be set pursuant to the Charter.

  • Health Plans The health plans offered and benefits provided by those plans shall be those approved by the City's JLMBC and administered by the Personnel Department in accordance with LAAC Section 4.

  • I nsurance During the License Term, Licensee shall, at its own cost and expense, procure and continue in force such insurance policies as are required by Licensor. Such insurance shall, at a minimum include commercial general liability insurance with a combined policy limit of at least $1,000,000 or such other amount as is reasonably agreed to by the parties. Licensor shall be named as an additional named insured on all such policies of insurance. A renewal policy shall be procured not less than ten (10) days prior to the expiration of any policy. Each original policy or a certified copy thereof, or a satisfactory certificate of the insurer evidencing insurance carried with proof of payment of the premium, shall be deposited with Licensor prior to the commencement date of the term hereof and within ten (10) days of the each anniversary date thereafter. If possible and financially feasible, Licensee shall endeavor to have the foregoing insurance policy provide coverage for issues related to COVID-19, novel coronavirus, or similar issues. Licensee shall provide workers’ compensation and employer liability coverage as may be required by the State of Nebraska.

  • Health Care The Company will reimburse the Executive for the cost of maintaining continuing health coverage under COBRA for a period of no more than 12 months following the date of termination, less the amount the Executive is expected to pay as a regular employee premium for such coverage. Such reimbursements will cease if the Executive becomes eligible for similar coverage under another benefit plan.

  • State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.
