Common use of CONTINUITY OF OPERATION Clause in Contracts

CONTINUITY OF OPERATION. A. Nothing in this Article shall require the Board to keep school open in the event of severe inclement weather or when otherwise prevented by Act of God. When the schools are closed to students due to the above conditions, teachers shall not be required to report for duty. B. The school calendar shall be a minimum of 170 student days and not have less than the minimum state required number of instructional hours. C. Any pre-arranged leave scheduled on a day in which school is not in session shall not be charged against the teacher's leave days, including snow days. In the event of a half day of school or an early dismissal, the teacher will only be charged with the portion of the day that school was in session.
