Common use of Continuous Service Credit Clause in Contracts

Continuous Service Credit. A. The principle of continuity of service is recognized in accordance with and subject to the provisions of this Agreement. Each Employee shall have continuous service credit dating from the first date of his or her unbroken service with the Fairbanks North Star Borough Transportation Department. B. The continuous service credit and seniority of any Employee will be broken only under the following conditions and when so broken such Employee shall be for all purposes considered a new Employee if and when rehired: 1. Proper discharge.
