Common use of CONTRACT PERIOD AND RENEWALS Clause in Contracts

CONTRACT PERIOD AND RENEWALS. This Contract shall commence after receipt of all necessary approvals, and shall become effective upon mailing of final Contract Award Notice by OGS in accordance with Appendix B § 38(i), Contract Creation/Execution. The Contract shall be in effect for a term of one (1) year. If mutually agreed between OGS and the Contractor, the Contract may be renewed, under the same terms and conditions, for an additional one (1) year period or until a replacement contract has been executed. Authorized Users may engage the Contractor for services pursuant to this Contract at any time during the term of the Contract. If at any time the Contract is cancelled, terminated or expires, the Contractor has the affirmative obligation to extend appropriate and reasonable cooperation to assure the orderly transition of Contract services to the subsequent contractor.
