Conversion from Probationary to Continuing Appointment. a) A Member who holds a probationary appointment shall have the right to apply for a continuing appointment within twelve (12) months, but no later than nine (9) months, prior to the end of his probationary appointment, or at an earlier time in exceptional circumstances with the approval of the Vice-President Academic and Xxxxxxx. Before making this application the Member shall first consult with the University Librarian.
