Common use of Copies to Employees Clause in Contracts

Copies to Employees. An affected employee shall be provided notice and a copy of any written material placed in his personnel record relative to job performance. Employees shall be provided notice of any request by a third party to review their file. For purposes of this section, “third party” shall mean any non-representative of the City, and shall exclude any representative of the City, including but not limited to any member of the administration or legislative body, any individual retained to represent or assist the City, and any other administrative representative from agencies such as the state auditor’s office, workers’ compensation, PERS, EEOC/OCRC, etc.
