Common use of CORPORATION RIGHTS Clause in Contracts

CORPORATION RIGHTS. 2.01 The Union agrees that the Corporation has the exclusive right to manage the affairs, to direct the forces and to hire, promote, demote, transfer, layoff, recall and to suspend, discipline or discharge employees with seniority for just cause. 2.02 The Corporation agrees that these functions shall be executed in a manner consistent with the general purpose and intent of this Agreement and subject to the right of an employee to lodge a grievance as set forth herein.
