Cost-of-Living Protection. For the purpose of this Section, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) refers to the Revised Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners & Clerical Work- ers--U.S. City Average--All items (1967 = 100), published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor.

Cost-of-Living Protection. Effective with the second year of the Agreement, the School District will provide cost of living protection to employees on steps of the salary schedule which are below $50,000 per year. The July 0000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx city average, All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), (1982-84 = 100) will be compared with the July 2009 CPI-U. If the 2010 CPI-U has increased above the 2009 CPI-U by more than 10.00%, the second year negotiated salary will be increased by 1/2% for each full 1.00% increase in the CPI-U above 10.00%. The July 0000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx city average, All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), will be compared with the July 2010 CPI-U in a similar fashion in the third year of this Agreement and a similar adjustment made if the July 2011 CPI-U exceeds the July 2010 CPI-U by more than 10.00%. A similar calculation will be made the fourth and fifth years of this Agreement.

  • Xxxx Protection 23.1With respect to the Parties' rights and obligations under this Framework Agreement, the Parties agree that the Authority is the Data Controller and that the Supplier is the Data Processor.

  • System Protection To prevent compromise of systems which contain DSHS Data or through which that Data passes:

  • Hearing Protection Hearing protection devices that reduce noise exposure below 90 dba shall be worn in all posted high noise areas, when performing work that generates noise above 90 dba, or when required by CCI Management.

  • ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTECTION (a) Seller shall perform this Agreement in a manner that ensures adequate protection for workers, the public, and the environment, and shall be accountable for actions of itself and its lower-tier subcontractors, agents and employees. Seller shall exercise a degree of care commensurate with the work and the associated hazards. Seller shall ensure that management of environment, safety and health (ES&H) functions and activities is an integral and visible part of Seller’s work planning and execution process. In the event that Xxxxxx fails to comply with this Agreement, Company may, without prejudice to any other legal or contractual rights, issue an order stopping all or any part of the work; thereafter a start order for resumption of work may be issued at Company’s discretion. Seller shall make no claim for an extension of time or for compensation or damages by reason of or in connection with such work stoppage. In addition, Company may require, in writing, that Seller remove from the work any employee the Company deems unsafe, incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Privacy Protection Each of the Corporation and the Subsidiaries have security measures and safeguards in place to protect personal information it collects from registered patients and customers and other parties from illegal or unauthorized access or use by its personnel or third parties or access or use by its personnel or third parties in a manner that violates the privacy rights of third parties. The Corporation and the Subsidiaries have complied, in all material respects, with all applicable privacy and consumer protection legislation and neither has collected, received, stored, disclosed, transferred, used, misused or permitted unauthorized access to any information protected by privacy laws, whether collected directly or from third parties, in an unlawful manner. The Corporation and the Subsidiaries have taken all reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss or theft and against unauthorized access, copying, use, modification, disclosure or other misuse.

  • Virus Protection The Bank is not responsible for any electronic virus or viruses that you may encounter. We suggest that you routinely scan your PC using a virus protection product. An undetected virus may corrupt and destroy your programs, files, and your hardware.

  • Child Protection Barracudas’ staff have a duty to respond if they suspect a child may be suffering from or makes a disclosure about abuse. In this event staff will contact the relevant local authority and act on their advice.

  • Foot Protection The Employer reserves the right to require the wearing of foot protection by employees. In such cases, the Employer will provide a safety device or, if the Employer requires the employee to purchase approved safety shoes, the Employer will pay an allowance, not to exceed the established contract price approved by the State Purchasing Division, during January of each year.
