Course Description. This course provides the student with the knowledge to identify the specialized imaging equipment needed to perform a variety of procedures; equipment; accessories; and technical concerns for specialized radiographic exams; distinguish between positions and projections for all special procedures. Topics include myelography; tomography; arthrography; female reproductive system; computers in radiography; specialized procedures; image intensifications; recording systems.
