COURSES INVOLVING ABSENCES FROM WORK. Where the attendance of an employee at an educational or training course in which the whole or any part of the tuition fees are being paid by the Employer, involves absence from his/her regular duties for a period of five (5) days or more, approval must be obtained from his/her Manager prior to the commencement of such course. The Manager shall initiate such approval.
