Common use of Court Appearance or Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Court Appearance or Jury Duty. (a) The Employer shall grant leave of absence without loss of seniority benefits to an Employee who is required, court order, summons, or subpoena to appear as a juror or witness in any court. (e) In the event that the Employee is found not guilty the Employee shall be reinstated to their former position and the Employee shall be paid all pay and benefits that would have been earned during the leave of absence granted under Article 25.4 (b) or (c) above.
