CPI Rate Adjustment. The Rates for all Disposal Services and the Host Fee shall increase annually in proportion to the percentage increase in the CPI over the preceding year, as provided below (“CPI Adjustment”). Adjustments to the Rates and Host Fee shall be made in units of one cent ($0.01) and fractions thereof shall be rounded to the nearest cent. The first annual CPI Adjustment shall occur January 1, 2014April 1, 2021 (such date and each anniversary thereof during the Term, an “Adjustment Date”). The Rates and Host Fee shall be increased in proportion to the percentage increase in the CPI over the most recent twelve (12) month period ending on October 1December 31 of the year preceding the Adjustment Date. The Contractor’s calculations of the CPI Adjustment and the Host Fee shall be i) certified true, correct and complete by the Contractor Representative and ii) provided to the City no later than December March 1 of the year preceding the Adjustment Date. The adjusted Rates and Host Fee shall take effect on the Adjustment Date and shall apply for the ensuing year. If the CPI is changed or discontinued, it will be replaced by an index that would achieve as closely as possible to the same result as if the CPI had not been changed or discontinued.

CPI Rate Adjustment. Rate Adjustment The parties shall use the rates in the second contract year and adjust the rates for subsequent renewal annual terms using the second contract year rates as follows. Commencing on the third contract year (which would be the first annual renewal term, if any), and any annual renewal term thereafter, the rates will be adjusted by the change in the CPI Index (as defined below). The parties acknowledge that there may be a normal time delay in reporting price change data, which delay (if any) might necessitate retroactive adjustments in the payments arising under the annual fees for any annual renewal term as adjusted pursuant to this Schedule.   • Rate Adjustment (a) An employee who is set back to a lower paid job because of mechanization, technological change or automation will receive the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback for a period of three (3) months and for a further period of three (3) months he will be paid an adjusted rate which will be midway between the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback and the rate of his new regular job. At the end of this 6-month period the rate of his new regular job will apply. However, such employee will have the option of terminating his employment and accepting severance pay as outlined in Section 5 below, providing he exercises this option within the above-referred-to 6-month period.

  • RATE ADJUSTMENTS 1. Taxes applicable to the gas delivered to Buyer hereunder as are in effect on January 1,\ immediately preceding the effective date of these terms and conditions shall be added to Buyer's bill.   • Wage Adjustment Notwithstanding any provision in this Agreement on the contrary, the wages of employees shall be reduced by the amount of employee contributions made by the employer pursuant to the provisions hereof.

  • Market Adjustments 22. Neither this Article nor any other in this Collective Agreement prevents the Employer from using other funds to increase a Member’s salary in response to offers received from other employers or to accommodate other market forces.

  • Wage Adjustments If the funding available to be used for wages provided by Government in any fiscal year increases, the Employer shall pass on such increases to employees consistent with the funding increase adjusted for any additional deficits that this contract incurs. This will be the case whether the funding increase is for the entire year or simply a portion of it, and wage increases shall be effective upon the effective date of the increased funding. Should there be no increase provided by Government, wages will be maintained at their present levels. Should there be a decrease in funding, then the Employer will maintain wages at present levels. The Employer will promptly provide the Union with any information it receives from the Government regarding funding available for wages, and the parties will meet as required to work towards cooperative resolution of any issues arising from this Government information.

  • Cost Adjustments Both parties agree that contracted prices shall be fixed for the first 12 months of this Contract. Contractor must submit to District any proposed cost adjustments at least 60 days before the proposed effective date of such increases with a detailed explanation for each adjustment. District alone reserves the right to reject any changes to this Contract it deems unacceptable.

  • Non pre-priced Adjustment Factor To be applied to Work deemed not to be included in the CTC but within the general scope of the work:

  • Market Adjustment The parties to this Agreement recognize the appropriateness of market pay adjustments in rare instances for compelling reasons. To effectuate judgments in such cases, the President and AAUP Chapter President, in consultation, shall each name three (3) individuals to a university Market Evaluation Committee. Deans may submit recommendations for market pay adjustments with supporting written reasons to the committee. Said Committee shall consult with the President concerning proposed market pay adjustments reporting its advice not later than May 15 in each year. Upon the favorable recommendation of the President and the Chancellor, market pay adjustments may be approved effective at the beginning of that pay period including September 1 of the following year. Not more than one (1) market pay adjustment per one hundred (100) full-time members, or fraction thereof, may be recommended in any contract year. A member’s salary may not be increased beyond the maximum for the rank. Funding for this program shall be governed by Article 12.10.2.

  • Price Adjustments 17.1 Prices for Goods/Services supplied in terms of this Agreement shall be subject to review as indicated in the Schedule of Requirements/Works Order annexed hereto.
