Credited Past Service with Adopting Employer. Credited Past Service means the number of years and complete months of Service with the Adopting Employer prior to the date an Eligible Employee becomes a Participant which are treated as credited service under the Plan. (1) Eligible Employees Employed on Original Effective Date of GMEBS Plan. With respect to Eligible Employees who are employed by the Adopting Employer on the original Effective Date of the Employer's GMEBS Plan, Service with the Adopting Employer prior to the date the Eligible Employee becomes a Participant (including any Service prior to the Effective Date of the Plan) shall be treated as follows (check one): All Service prior to the date the Eligible Employee becomes a Participant shall be credited (as Credited Past Service).
