Credits to and Charges Against Sick Leave. Xxxx leave credits accrue at the rate of eight (8) working hours credit for each completed month of service, as prescribed by County Salary Regulations and Memoranda of Understanding. Employees who work a portion of a month are entitled to a pro rata share of the monthly sick leave credit computed on the same basis as is partial month compensation. Credits to and charges against sick leave are made in minimum amounts of one minute increments. Unused sick leave credits accumulate from year to year. When an employee is separated other than through retirement, accumulated sick leave credits shall be cancelled unless separation is involuntary and related to budget
