Crime Scene Investigation Incentive. 3.5.1 The Chief of Police may assign a certified CSO to forensic crime scene investigation duties based upon department needs. Continued receipt of the incentive shall be contingent on maintaining certification, successful performance and approval of the Chief of Police. The CSI certification shall be administered and evaluated by the Chief of Police. Completion of the Department Directive 20-03 CSI classes shall serve as certification as a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI). Once every 24- months, a continuing education class must be completed to retain CSI certification. Substitute or like classes may be taken at the discretion of the Chief of Police. 3.5.1.1 A CSO I who holds a CSI rating may be eligible for a 2.5% incentive for hours worked performing CSI/forensic duties outside the scope of a custodial property function. 3.5.1.2 A CSO II who holds a CSI rating may be eligible for a 2.5% incentive for a CSI collateral duty. 3.5.1.3 The Department reserves the right to modify or change the core class requirement should there be changes in course availability, technological advancement or innovation or other conditions require.

  • Background Investigation The BOARD is prohibited from knowingly employing a person who has been convicted of committing or attempting to commit certain criminal offenses. Neither the Assignee nor the Auctioneer shall be required or bound to inform the Purchaser of any such matters whether known to them or not and the Purchaser shall raise no enquiry, requisition or objection thereon or thereto.

  • Grievance Investigations Where an employee has asked or is obliged to be represented by the Institute in relation to the presentation of a grievance and an employee acting on behalf of the Institute wishes to discuss the grievance with that employee, the employee and the representative of the employee will, where operational requirements permit, be given reasonable leave with pay for this purpose when the discussion takes place in the headquarters area of such employee and leave without pay when it takes place outside the headquarters area of such employee.

  • Site Investigation Developer has made a careful investigation of the Site and is familiar with the requirements of the Contract Documents and has accepted the readily observable, existing conditions of the Site.
