– AWARD OF CONTRACTS II.9.1 If the beneficiary has to conclude contracts in order to carry out the action and they constitute costs of the action under an item of eligible direct costs in the estimated budget, he shall seek competitive tenders from potential contractors and award the contract to the bid offering best value for money; in doing so he shall observe the principles of transparency and equal treatment of potential contractors and shall take care to avoid any conflict of interests.
Award of Related Contracts City may undertake or award supplemental or successor contracts for work related to this Contract. The Consultant shall cooperate fully with other Consultants and City in all such cases and the City shall provide notice to the Consultant prior to awarding any such contract.

Standard of Service The Service Provider shall perform the Services in a competent and professional manner according to standards agreed upon by the Service Provider and the Company. The Service Provider agrees that it will exercise due diligence to abide by and comply with all laws, statutes, rules, regulations, and orders of any governmental authority in the performance of its Services under this Agreement. The Service Provider will conduct its business and perform its obligations in a manner which will not cause the possible revocation or suspension of the Company's Certificate(s) of Authority or cause the Company to sustain any fines, penalties, or other disciplinary action of any nature whatsoever.
