Common use of Critical Illness Benefit Clause in Contracts

Critical Illness Benefit. If an Insured Person is First Diagnosed to be suffering from a Critical Illness of the nature specified in Annexure A of the Policy, during the Coverage Period, then We will pay the Sum Insured under this Benefit as specified in the Certificate of Insurance. This benefit is payable provided that: a. the Critical Illness is covered under the Policy for the Insured Person as stated in the Certificate of Insurance; b. the Critical Illness first occurs or first manifests itself during the Coverage Period as a first incidence;
