Common use of Cultural and Linguistic Proficiency Clause in Contracts

Cultural and Linguistic Proficiency. To ensure access to quality care by diverse populations, each service provider receiving funds from the State-County Contract shall adopt the federal Office of Minority Health Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) national standards as outlined online at: xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/omh/browse.aspx?lvl=2&lvlid=53https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/clas/standards. The Contractor shall participate in the County’s efforts to promote the delivery of services in a culturally responsive manner to all beneficiaries, including those with limited English proficiency and diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation or gender identity.
