We've all been there - at the check-out counter, about to swipe your debit card when suddenly you think, "Did I deposit that check? Do I have enough money in my account to cover this purchase?" Life can get pretty hectic, and MAX wants to help you whenever we can. As a benefit of your MAX relationship, we can extend the overdraft protection coverage we offer for checking accounts to include merchant transactions made with your MAX Debit Card or ATM Card. This service is not automatic, so you must opt-in to enjoy the confidence in knowing you will have this added protection. You may do so in one of five ways:

  • Member Benefits The members shall be entitled to the following benefits during the term of this Agreement, save and except as otherwise hereinafter provided:

  • Workplace Safety Insurance Benefits (WSIB) Top Up Benefits If the employee is in a class of employees that, on August 31, 2012, was entitled to use unused sick leave credits for the purpose of topping up benefits received under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997;

  • Dependent Care Salary Reduction Plan The Employer agrees to maintain the current dependent care salary reduction plan that allows eligible employees, covered by this Agreement, the option to participate in a dependent care reimbursement program for work-related dependent care expenses on a pretax basis as permitted by federal tax law or regulation.
