Common use of Customer’s Security Assessment Clause in Contracts

Customer’s Security Assessment. a. Customer is solely responsible for reviewing Upwork’s security processes and evaluating for itself whether the Service, the Security Measures, and Upwork’s commitments under this Section 7 (Data Security) will meet Customer’s needs, including with respect to any security obligations of Customer under the European Data Protection Legislation or Non-European Data Protection Legislation, as applicable.
