Common use of DAILY CALL-IN Clause in Contracts

DAILY CALL-IN. 10.01 Employees shall be called in the order of their seniority within their classification in their yard. 10.02 A senior person may be sent home before a junior person during the balance of a work shift, except however, where a junior person and a senior person are in the yard or at the plant at the same time and both are available for work, the senior person shall not be sent home before a junior person until he/she has had eight 10.03 Employees reporting for the purpose of educational or safety meetings will be paid at their basic non-overtime hourly rate. The provisions of Article IX, X and XXIII will not apply in such situations.
