Access to the virtual entities is provided to the registered users that have the authorization to access this specific information. This service includes resource lookup, for crowd and testbed resources, as well as experiment data querying. IoTContext View Actors Involved (& Role played) Investigator: User with permission to query a virtual entity. Resource (crowd or testbed): the resource to be accessed. Information: A virtual entity as a passive digital artefact, which is a digital representation of physical entities. In this case the main information includes the user identification as well as the other associated information such as roles, permissions etc. Entity directory: Resource that contains global information about physical entities, services and other resources.
