Deadline for Applications. Applications for sabbatical leave for the following school year must be filed with the Human Resources Department on or before the third Friday of the fifth school month, or by Friday of the fourth school month for mid-year applicants.

Applications for sabbatical leave for the following school year must be filed with the Human Resources Department Office on or before March 15th for leaves to commence the third Friday fall semester and on/or before November 1st for the spring semester. Applications shall be made by a Letter of Request through the immediate supervisor to the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, and shall include a full statement of the fifth school monthpurpose and plans for use of such a leave. In unusual circumstances, or by Friday the Board of the fourth school month for mid-year applicantsTrustees may authorize acceptance of applications at other times.
