Death Outside the Immediate Family. A maximum of two (2) days of temporary leave may be used in any contract year to cover absence on account of death of persons outside the immediate family, subject to arrangements with the school principal. IF A TEACHER HAS USED TEN (10) DAYS OF SICK LEAVE IN ONE YEAR, THE SUPERINTENDENT OR BUILDING PRINCIPAL SHALL CONFER WITH HIM/HER TO REVIEW THE TEACHERS USE OF SICK LEAVE AND THE NUMBER OF DAYS REMAINING. Job Related Illness or Disability Under the provisions of the Kansas Workers' Compensation Law the Board will continue to provide coverage for all teachers.
