Definition of Casual Employee. 35:01 A. A casual employee is one an individual who is hired not on an as needed basis by the board. Casual employees shall be used to replace absent workers but regular seniority list and who is not to augment existing complementserving a probationary period. A casual employee may be either a replacement casual or a supplemental casual as hereinafter provided. All casual employees shall generally work specify in writing the hours of terminal(s) in which the employee he chooses to work. Once an employee accepts work he/she is replacing and there shall be no guaranteed number of hours obligated to fulfill said hours. The employee can only work at one (1) terminal per shift or per week but such hours day.
