Attendance Management. Days of absence arising out of a medically-established serious chronic condition, an ongoing course of treatment, a catastrophic event, absence for which WSIB benefits are payable, medically necessary surgical interventions, or days where the employee is asymptomatic and is under a doctor’s care from the commencement of symptoms for a confirmed communicable disease (and has provided medical substantiation of such symptoms) but is required to be absent under the Hospital or public health authority protocol, will not be counted for the purposes of being placed on, or progressing through, the steps of an attendance management program. Leaves covered under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 and leaves under Article 11 will not be counted for the purposes of being placed on, or progressing through, the steps of an attendance management program.
Attendance Management. 23.01 The Company and the Union agree, that the Company’s current Attendance Policy applicable to all Xxxxxx hourly employees will remain in force and effect for the life of this Collective Agreement except as it may be amended from time to time
Attendance Management. 14.1.1 Teachers unable to carry on their duties, due to causes covered by the terms of the Agreement, shall give, if possible, at least two (2) hours’ notice to Human Resources before school assembles, so that proper substitutes may be obtained. Before returning to duty, the absent teacher shall notify Human Resources of such intended return. If returning for the morning sessions, the notification must be given before 6:00 a.m. and for afternoon sessions, before 10:00 a.m. Failure to observe this regulation shall result in the loss to the teacher of one-half (1/2) day’s salary whether the substitute teacher is required or not, provided however, at the discretion of the Superintendent of Human Resources or delegated authority, after investigations of the circumstances, the charging of a substitute teacher’s salary may be waived.
14.1.2 The Board may require a teacher who takes leave under Clauses 14.6 to 14.10 to provide evidence reasonable in the circumstances that the teacher is entitled to the leave. In the event the teacher fails to provide evidence satisfactory to the Board, the teacher’s absence will be personal leave in accordance with Article 12.
Attendance Management. D.11.1 Prior to the implementation of an Attendance Management policy the Employer shall provide an opportunity to the Bargaining Unit to comment on such policy.

Attendance Management. A. The PARTIES recognize that Maintenance duties and functions are time critical and that Employees have the responsibility and obligation to be at work on time each day. Streetcar Maintainers will be subject to the following terms, which supersede any conflicting provisions elsewhere in the AGREEMENT. R16.10.B
B. Maintenance will monitor and record attendance using the terms of late occurrence and unexcused absence. No late occurrence or unexcused absence will be issued to Employees that call one-half hour before his/ her shift to request unscheduled leave and then are requested to come to work, provided they report to work in a reasonable time. An Employee can use AC time or vacation time to make up lost time.
C. A late occurrence (six minutes to two hours) shall be managed and recorded as follows:

Employees may request Union representation at all formal steps of the Attendance Management Program. The Employer will inform the employee and the Union at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of the date, time, and location of the meeting. Employees will be paid for any and all required meetings related to the Attendance Management Program.
Attendance Management. Employees with sporadic absence above the norm will be placed on an attendance management program.
Attendance Management. No medical records or medical information shall be stored in school files. All such information shall be provided by teachers directly to the Manager of Human Resources, or designate, and stored in a confidential manner.
