Definition of Day and Work Day. A day is a twenty-four (24) hour period beginning with the start of the employee’s shift. The basic workday for full-time and seasonal employees is seven and one-half (7½) consecutive hours of work broken only by the established lunch period beginning and ending at the established service centre, in any twenty-four (24) hour period. The basic workday for a part-time employee is up to seven and one-half (7½) consecutive hours of work broken only by the work breaks specified in this agreement.
