Common use of Definition of Temporary Employee Clause in Contracts

Definition of Temporary Employee. The Employer retains the right to employ temporary employees as defined below: Council Temporary – an individual hired directly by the Employer. This temporary worker may become a member of the bargaining unit as per Minnesota Statutes, Section 179A.03, subdivision 14(f) and is subject to the provisions of Sections 6.03 and 6.04. Council Temporary employees hired for more than ninety (90) working days in a calendar year shall be eligible for wages and benefits in accordance with applicable provisions of this Agreement.
