DEFINITIONS AND UNITS OF MEASUREMENT. Definitions NOTE: This section contains all general or specific definitions. For the purposes of these regulations: A Accommodation means spaces intended for the use of persons normally living on board, including galleys, food stores, lavatories, washrooms, bathrooms, laundries, halls, alleyways, etc., but excluding the wheelhouse; ADR means the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road; Aerosol, see Aerosol dispenser; Aerosol dispenser means any non-refillable receptacle meeting the requirements of 6.2.6 of ADR or of RID made of metal, glass or plastics, and containing a gas, compressed, liquefied or dissolved under pressure, with or without a liquid, paste or powder, and fitted with a release device allowing the contents to be ejected as solid or liquid particles in suspension in a gas, as a foam, paste or powder or in a liquid state or in a gaseous state; Animal material means animal carcasses, animal body parts, or animal foodstuffs; Approval Multilateral approval, for the carriage of Class 7 material, means approval by the relevant competent authority of the country of origin of the design or shipment, as applicable, and by the competent authority of each country through or into which the consignment is to be carried; Unilateral approval, for the carriage of Class 7 material, means an approval of a design which is required to be given by the competent authority of the country of origin of the design only. If the country of origin is not a Contracting Party to ADN, the approval shall require validation by the competent authority of the first Contracting Party to ADN reached by the consignment (see 6.4.22.6 of ADR);

  • APPLICABILITY OF OTHER RATES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS 12.1 Every interconnection, service and network element provided hereunder, shall be subject to all rates, terms and conditions contained in this Agreement which are legitimately related to such interconnection, service or network element.   • DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION Definitions 1.1 In this Contract, unless the contrary intention appears: Activity End Date means the date reported as such in a Student Statistical Report for an individual's enrolment in an individual subject. Activity Start Date means the date reported as such in a Student Statistical Report for an individual's enrolment in an individual subject. Apprentice has the meaning given to it in the Act. Approved Training Scheme means a training scheme approved under section 5.5.2 of the Act. Brokering Services means the recruitment of individuals to participate in Skills First subsidised training in exchange for payment from the Training Provider or the student. It excludes activities carried out by individuals who are employees of the Training Provider on the Training Provider’s payroll, whose role includes the identification and recruitment of potential students. WAGE GROUP: C14 Engineering/Production Employee - Level I As Engineering/Production Employee - Level I is an employee who is undertaking up to 38 hours induction training which may include information on the enterprise, conditions of employment, introduction to supervisors and fellow workers, training and career path opportunities, plant layout, work and documentation procedures, occupational health and safety, equal employment opportunity and quality control/assurance.
