Common use of Demarcation Point Clause in Contracts

Demarcation Point. The access demarcation is an end point of the Rogers network that interfaces with your internal network. Demarcation interface is a port facing your internal network on a router/switch/modem (depending on access technology) provided by Rogers or Rogers’ partner.

Rogers Technicians will not be responsible for internal wiring at your premise. Xxxxx’s responsibility will be to test the services on the ATA i.e. phone demarcation point beyond which, it will be your responsibility to connect the phone lines to existing or Rogers’ partnernew wiring and/or other devices like elevators, alarm panels etc.
