DEMOTION INTO UNIT FROM OUTSIDE. (a) When by reason of lack of work at the employee's headquarters the Company demotes into a classification in the collective bargaining unit a supervisory or other employee who was not at the time of demotion a member of such unit such employee shall thereupon be entitled to exercise the rights set forth in this Title. (Amended 1-1-91) (b) In no case shall such demoted employee be placed into a classification that is higher than the classification held prior to leaving the bargaining unit subject to Subsection 206.1(f). (Added 1-1-88) (c) Company shall not demote into the collective bargaining unit a supervisor or other employee who was hired or left the bargaining unit on January 1, 1991 or thereafter.
