DEMURRAGE / DEVIATION RATE. The rate for demurrage and/or deviation shall be the fixed dollar figure specified in Part I (J) or the rate derived by determining the applicable rate from the WORLDSCALE Demurrage Table for tonnage specified in Part I (J) and multiplying that rate by the Base Freight Rate. If a Part Cargo Minimum basis is specified in Part I (E) and Charterer exercises its option to load additional cargo, any demurrage and/or deviation shall, nevertheless, remain payable at either the aforesaid fixed dollar rate or at the aforesaid rate based on the tonnage specified in Part I (J), whichever is applicable. The applicable rate under this Clause shall hereinafter be called “Demurrage Rate” or “Deviation Rate” as is appropriate.

  • Supported wage rates Employees to whom this clause applies shall be paid the applicable percentage of the minimum rate of pay prescribed by this Agreement for the class of work which the person is performing according to the following schedule: * (Provided that the minimum amount payable shall be not less than $45 per week).   • Demurrage If as a result of the Customer's actions and unless permission is granted by the Company, if the Equipment is not returned during or at the end of the term, then for every hour, or portion thereof, from the end of the term to the time when the Equipment is returned to the Company, as required herein, the Customer shall pay a rental rate equal to three (3) times (x) the standard hourly rental rate for such equipment.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations.   • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.

  • Wage Rate The hourly rates for full-time junior and adult apprentices as set out in this agreement shall apply to school based apprentices except that the school based apprentice for pay purposes will be paid a further 25% of hours to the actual hours worked for off the job training.

  • Overtime Rate In accordance with the applicable wage and hour laws, the overtime rate will be one and one-half (1-1/2) of an employee’s regular rate of pay. The regular rate of pay will not include any allowable exclusions.

  • Indirect Cost Rates The System Agency may acknowledge an indirect cost rate for Grantees that is utilized for all applicable Grant Agreements. For subrecipients receiving federal funds, indirect cost rates will be determined in accordance with applicable law including, but not limited to, 2 CFR 200.414(f). For recipients receiving state funds, indirect costs will be determined in accordance with applicable law including, but not limited to, TxGMS. Grantees funded with blended federal and state funding will be subject to both state and federal requirements when determining indirect costs. In the event of a conflict between TxGMS and applicable federal law or regulation, the provisions of federal law or regulation will apply. Grantee will provide any necessary financial documents to determine the indirect cost rate in accordance with the Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) and TxGMS.

  • Overtime Rates All overtime hours shall be compensated at the rate of time and one- half (1-1/2).

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Rental Rates Schedules for (i) proposed rental rates on heavy construction equipment, and (ii) proposed wage rates of operating engineers. The Design-Builder firm shall certify that the proposal for rental rates and proposal for wage rates comply with the Contract Documents.
