Common use of Dental Services Plan Clause in Contracts

Dental Services Plan. The Employer and the Union agree that the following dental plan has been in effect for the benefit of those employees participating therein under the terms of this Collective Agreement since 1 August 1974 and that it shall continue as amended hereafter: (a) Basic Dental Services (Plan A--provision for payment of 100% of the approved schedule of fees); (b) Prosthetics (Plan B--provision for payment of 70% of the approved schedule of fees); and (c) Orthodontics (Plan C - provision for payment of seventy percent (70%) of the approved schedule of fees). The lifetime maximum shall be $3000 for employees and their dependents as defined by the Plan. The cost of premiums shall be borne 100% by the Employer. All employees shall participate in the dental plan except those employees who were exempted from participation when the dental plan was first established. Any employee who was exempted from participation in the dental plan as aforesaid shall not be eligible for participation therein.
