Department Contract Management. The Department will be responsible for the administrative oversight of the Medicaid MCO Program. As necessary and appropriate, the Department will provide clarification of the Medicaid MCO Program and Medicaid policy, regulations and procedures. The Department will be responsible for the management of this Contract. All Medicaid policy decision making or interpretations of this Contract will be made solely by the Department and are considered final. The management of this Contract will be conducted in the best interests of the Department and the Medicaid MCO Members. Whenever the Department is required by the terms of this Contract to provide written notice to the Contractor, such notice will be signed by the Director of Department or his/her designee.

The management of this contract will be conducted in the best interests of the Department and the Medicaid Managed Care Members. The Department will provide clarification of the Medicaid Managed Care Program and Medicaid Policy, along with relevant regulations and Procedures. All Medicaid policy decision or interpretations of this contract will be made solely by the Department and are considered final. Whenever the Department is required by the terms of this contract to provide written notice to the CONTRACTOR, the Director of Department or his/her designee will sign such notice.

  • Contract Management To ensure full performance of the Contract and compliance with applicable law, the System Agency may take actions including:
