Dependent Child of Parents Not Separated or Divorced. Except as stated in 10.5(c) below, when this Plan and another Plan cover the same child as a Dependent of different parents:

  • Dependent Child/Parents Separated or Divorced If two or more plans cover a person as a dependent child of divorced or separated parents, the plan responsible to cover benefits for the child will be determined in the following order: • first, the plan of the parent with custody of the child; • then, the plan of the spouse of the parent with custody of the child; and • finally, the plan of the parent not having custody of the child. If the terms of a court decree state that: • one of the parents is responsible for the healthcare expenses of the child, and the entity obligated to pay or provide the parent's benefits under that parent's plan has actual knowledge of those terms, the benefits of that plan are determined first and the benefits of the plan of the other parent are the secondary plan. • both parents share joint custody, without stating that one of the parents is responsible for the healthcare expenses of the child, the plans covering the child will follow the order of benefit determination rules outlined above.

  • Dependent Child If dependent children are covered under separate plans of more than one person, whether a parent or guardian, benefits for the child will be determined in the following order: • the benefits of the plan covering the parent born earlier in the year will be determined before those of the parent whose birthday (month and day only) falls later in the year; • if both parents have the same birthday, the benefits of the plan that covered the parent longer are determined before those of the plan which covered the other parent for a shorter period of time; • if the other plan does not determine benefits according to the parents' birth dates, but by parents' gender instead, the other plan’s gender rule will determine the order of benefits.

  • FAMILY MEMBERSHIP Credit Union members in good standing and whose status is currently within the Credit Union's common bond (as outlined therein) may sponsor immediate family members and possibly other members of Your household for Credit Union membership. Eligible family members may include for instance: father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather and spouse (which may include anyone living in Your residence that You maintain a single economic unit with). Any Owner may provide Us written notice to freeze funds on deposit and We may, at Our option, honor such written request. If We do, then the Account will remain frozen until We receive subsequent written notice signed by all Owners of the Account as to a disposition of funds on deposit. Any funds on deposit may be utilized to satisfy any debt or garnishment of any Owner of the Account. It is the responsibility of joint account Owners to determine any legal effects of opening and maintaining a joint account.

  • Replacement Employee Should a replacement Employee be engaged, the replacement Employee is to be informed prior to engagement of the fixed term nature of the employment and of the rights of the Employee, who is being replaced, including that the engagement may be subject to variation according to 6.10.3 (d) and ability to extend unpaid Maternity Leave as provided for under sub-clause 6.10.10.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • Spouse The spouse of an eligible employee (if legally married under Minnesota law). For the purposes of health insurance coverage, if that spouse works full-time for an organization employing more than one hundred (100) people and elects to receive either credits or cash (1) in place of health insurance or health coverage or (2) in addition to a health plan with a seven hundred and fifty dollar ($750) or greater deductible through his/her employing organization, he/she is not eligible to be a covered dependent for the purposes of this Article. If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State's Group Insurance Program, neither spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other, unless one spouse is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 if both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, a spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other.

  • Child A biological, adopted, or xxxxxx child, stepchild, legal xxxx, conservatee or a child who is under eighteen (18) years of age for whom an employee stands in loco parentis or for whom the employee is the guardian or conservator, or an adult dependent child of the employee.

  • Career Ladder Effective July 1, 2014, TALC and the District agreed to the 11 implementation of a Career Ladder for the advancement of instructional staff on the 12 Performance Salary Schedule. Elements of the Career Ladder are outlined and posted on 13 the District website and include detailed descriptions of Career Ladder levels and the 14 requirements for movement. All instructional staff hired on or after January 8, 2018 will 15 be placed on the Apprentice level of the Career Ladder.
