Common use of Deputy Fire Marshal Clause in Contracts

Deputy Fire Marshal. Personnel assigned to this position shall be compensated at the rank held in the Galveston Fire Department. Individuals transferred into the Fire Marshal’s office as assistant Fire Marshals shall remain as civil service employees and be governed by all applicable laws including the contract between Firefighters Local 571 and the City of Galveston. For anyone serving as Fire Marshal or Deputy Fire Marshal there will be an incentive pay of $93 per month for each of the following incentive pays only: 1. Arson Investigation
