Modified Work Schedule. The Motor Coach Operator shall be placed on a modified work schedule, with management establishing the modified work schedule, including days off, for the following situations, with the Motor Coach Operator being paid for actual hours worked at the applicable hourly rate of pay: All scheduled required training Jury duty (covered by Section 4.06) Special assignments which are agreed to by the Motor Coach Operator The Extra Board will be assigned to fill-in behind a Motor Coach Operator who has been placed on a modified work schedule. When a Motor Coach Operator is scheduled for training that is less than 8 hours, every attempt will be made to return the operator to his/her regularly scheduled run, time permitting. When returning the operator to his/her regularly scheduled run is not possible, the operator will be given a “shine” assignment. Every attempt will be made to schedule training during the operators’ normal work hours. When this is not possible, operators will be given 72 hours’ notice. Training on regular work days will not occur more than 2 hours prior to or 2 hours after the operator’s shift.
Modified Work Schedule. (a) The hours of work for employees working in the Information Management (IM) branch may vary from those in Article 31.01, 31.02 and 31.03.
(b) The hours of work shall average thirty-eight and three quarters (38 ¾) per week over a twelve (12) week period.
(c) The schedule shall be posted twenty-eight (28) days in advance. Except in cases of unforeseen circumstances or emergency situations, employees will be given at least seven (7) days notice of a change in their work schedule. If an employee receives less than seven (7) day’s notice of a change in their normal scheduled hours of work, they shall be paid at a rate of time and one-half (1 ½) for the first day worked which is not in accordance with the original schedule on the new schedule, subsequent days shall be paid for at straight time.
(d) Employees will receive at least two (2) consecutive days of rest and shall have at least half of xxx Xxxxxxxxx and Sundays off during each twelve (12) week period. It is agreed that the introduction of the modified work schedule will be reviewed after a six (month) period and any revisions will be implemented as necessary. Any variations to sub clauses 31.05 (c) and (d) will be by mutual agreement. Employees working a modified work schedule will receive an annual premium, pro rated for part years, of $1500 per annum. The premium will be payable on the first pay day after December 1, of each eligible year. Employees so assigned will not be eligible for call back and standby premiums.
Modified Work Schedule. Employees assigned to the Training Division may work a modified work schedule for the purposes of conducting scheduled training events, subject to their supervisor's approval. Employees assigned to the Training Division may also be called upon to respond to emergency situations as identified in their job description on an "as available or requested basis." When assigned to the Training Division employees will remain eligible to serve as line personnel for purposes of covering vacation or other relief, subject to their supervisor's approval.

Modified Work Schedule. 15.3.1. When an employee is assigned to a forty (40)-hour work week for light duty purposes, all leave banks and accrual rates shall remain the same as provided in Section 18.
Modified Work Schedule. The parties agree to the establishment and implementation of a Modified Work Schedule within the scope of Section 170 of the Canada Labour Code as outlined below. The Modified Work Schedule shall be applicable to all regular full-time employees and part-time employees who work a full forty (40) hour block. Full-time employees assigned to a Modified Work Schedule shall be paid time and one-half (1- 1/2) the regular hourly wage rate for the hours worked in excess of their scheduled finish time or in excess of forty (40) hours per week in the classifications to which they are assigned on such work. In the event that a crew on a modified work schedule exceeds their scheduled finish time by 1.5 hours or more for a period exceeding 30 consecutive days, management will complete a route audit and work with the employees - via the Joint Action Committee - to identify and implement corrective action.

(e) Every reasonable effort shall be made by NAV CANADA to consider the wishes of the employees concerned in the arrangement of shifts within a shift schedule. It is agreed that the introduction of the modified work schedule will be reviewed after a six (6) month period and any revisions will be implemented as necessary. Any variations to sub clauses 31.05 (c) and (d) will be by mutual agreement.
(f) Employees working a modified work schedule will receive an annual premium, pro rated for each thirteen (13) week schedule of $3,000 per annum. The premium will be payable at the end of every thirteen (13) weeks schedule.
