Design Build Firm Fees. A. The Fee for the Project shall be paid in proportionate monthly payments for the percentage of Work performed that month and less retainage as it bears on the latest estimate of the total Project cost or to the GMP or to the County's Project budget, whichever is less. The first monthly payment shall become due thirty (30) days following the issuance by the County of the Notice to Proceed with the design services for the Project and monthly thereafter based on the project schedule and approval by County as set forth in Exhibit H, GMP Amount Detail. The final monthly payment shall be paid only when Construction of the Project is Finally Completed and occupancy of it is accepted by the County. If Construction is authorized only for a part of the Project, the Fee paid shall be proportionate to the amount of work authorized by the County. The Design-Build Firm's personnel to be assigned to the Work and their duties, responsibilities, and fee schedule, and the duration of their assignments are shown on Exhibit F, Design-Build Firm Project Personnel, which is attached and incorporated by reference herein. Such personnel shall not be replaced without the prior written consent of the County which shall not unreasonably withhold such consent.

  • Design-Builder The person or entity responsible for the proper completion of the activities described in the Contract Documents and who executes the Contract.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Work Loads If an employee believes the amount of work he or she is required to perform is excessive over what is required from the rest of the staff and it will result in an occupational accident or occupational injury to him or her, the question shall be referred to Section 17 of this Agreement.
