Common use of Design Manager Clause in Contracts

Design Manager. 37 The Design Manager is responsible for coordinating the individual design disciplines and is 38 responsible for ensuring that the overall Project design is completed and design criteria and 39 requirements are met. This individual must be assigned to the Project full time and must be an 40 employee of (i) Developer, (ii) an Equity Member that holds at least a 1/3 beneficial interest in 41 Developer, (iii) the Lead Subcontractor, or (iv) the Lead Engineering Firm, and must be under 42 the direct supervision of the Project Manager. This individual must be on-site full-time until 1 completion of the Design Work and as required during the Construction Work of the Project. 2 This individual is responsible for design quality management and must have primary 3 responsibility for Design Work.
