Designated Election Official. Political Subdivision designates Xxx Xxxxx as its Designated Election Official (“DEO”), whose phone is 000-000-0000, cell number is 000-000-0000, email is xxxxxx@xx.xxxxx.co.us and fax is 000- 000-0000 to act as the primary liaison between Political Subdivision and Contact Officer. DEO shall have primary responsibility for Election procedures to be handled by Political Subdivision. DEO shall act in accordance with Title 1 of the Colorado Revised Statutes and the Colorado Secretary of State Election Rules for the relevant year of the Election. DEO shall be readily available and accessible during regular business hours, and at other times when notified by Contact Officer in advance, for the purposes of consultation and decision-making on behalf of Political Subdivision. In addition, XXX is responsible for receiving and timely responding to inquiries made by its voters or others interested in Political Subdivision’s election.
Designated Election Official. Pursuant to section1-1-104(8), C.R.S., the Local Government must appoint a designated election official responsible for assuring that the election is held according to Colorado statute. Except with respect to the duties carried out by the County Clerk as outlined below, , whose phone number is will act as the Designated Election Official for the Local Government and act as the primary liaison between the Local Government and the County Clerk. The County Clerk, who is the clerk of the BoCC pursuant to section 00-00-000, C.R.S, will also serve as the Designated Election Official for the BoCC.
