Common use of Designation of Days Clause in Contracts

Designation of Days. (a) All Employees who work on New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, British Columbia Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, will be paid rate and one-half for all hours so worked.

(a) All Employees who work on New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, British Columbia Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Boxing Day, any other day formally designated or declared as a statutory holiday by the Provincial Government will be paid rate and one-half (1½) for all hours so worked.
