Determination of Item Protests. Upon the receipt of test or item protests, the Personnel Officer shall commence to review the basis for the protest, consulting with such authorities as appropriate and make a determination that the item shall stand, be eliminated from the test, or that it be modified and the test shall be scored or re-scored accordingly. In any case, the protestants shall be notified of the Personnel Officer's decision.
