Common use of Directing Requests Clause in Contracts

Directing Requests. Requests from the Association for meetings of the negotiating teams shall be made in writing, if necessary, directly to the Superintendent and the Board. Requests from the Board shall be made in writing, if necessary, directly to the President of the Association. Within ten (10) days of the date of request, a mutually convenient time and place for a meeting shall be established unless otherwise agreed. The meeting shall take place within fifteen (15) days of the request. Additional meetings shall be agreed upon by the negotiating teams as may be necessary. Release time shall be arranged for the Association representatives when meetings are held during school hours.
