If the grievant and representative wish to appeal the Department Head's decision, the employee and representative may do so in writing to the Director of Human Resources or designee within five (5) working days after the date of the Department Head's decision. The Director of Human Resources or designee shall conduct such meeting(s), informal hearings and/or investigations as are appropriate in his/her judgment and deliver to the grievant a written decision within fifteen (15) working days.
