Disability Committee Sample Clauses
The Disability Committee clause establishes a designated group responsible for assessing and determining issues related to disability within the context of the agreement. Typically, this committee is composed of specified individuals, such as medical professionals or company representatives, who evaluate whether a party is considered disabled according to the contract's definitions. By centralizing the decision-making process regarding disability, this clause ensures consistent, fair, and expert determinations, thereby reducing disputes and providing clarity on how disability-related matters are handled under the agreement.
Disability Committee. There is hereby created a Disability Committee consisting of the Director of Human Resources, Assistant to the City Manager, Director of Electric Utility, and Risk Manager. The Committee will act as an advisory body over continuance of injury leave as outlined herein, and will report its findings to the City Manager for final disposition.
Disability Committee i. This Committee shall consist of five (5) members, including at least one (1) Teaching Faculty Member and at least one (1) Librarian, elected by a ballot of all Association Members.
ii. This Committee shall advise the Executive and Council regarding policies and procedures affecting Members with a disability, including chronic illness.
