Disappearance of a Child. An employee who has been employed by the Employer for at least thirty (30) days is entitled to a leave of absence from employment of up to one hundred and four (104) weeks if the employee is the parent of a child who has disappeared and it is probably, considering the circumstances that the child disappeared as a result of a crime. An employee is not entitled to a leave of absence under this Article if they are charged with the crime. An employee who wishes to take a leave under this Article must give the employer notice of at least one (1) pay period unless circumstances necessitate a shorter period. The employee must provide the Employer with reasonable verification of the necessity of the leave as soon as possible. Unless the employee and Employer agree otherwise, an employee may end a leave earlier than the expiry of the leave period by giving the Employer written notice at least one (1) pay period before he or she wishes to end the leave.

  • Application of this Agreement 2.1 All facilities made available by the Bank to any Person in respect of a Card or a Card Account are subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (as may be amended from time to time subject to prior notice) and any other applicable terms and conditions.
