DISCHARGE, SUSPENSION OR DEMOTION FOR CAUSE. The Chief of Police with the prior approval of the Management Committee may discharge, suspend or demote an employee for cause, provided the procedures specified in Section 5.0 of the Personnel Rules are followed. An employee who has completed his/her probationary period may appeal such discharge, suspension or demotion to the grievance procedure in accordance with Section 39.

  • SUSPENSION & TERMINATION FOR DEFAULT Enterprise Services may suspend Contractor’s operations under this Master Contract immediately by written cure notice of any default. Suspension shall continue until the default is remedied to Enterprise Services’ reasonable satisfaction; Provided, however, that, if after thirty (30) days from such a suspension notice, Contractor remains in default, Enterprise Services may terminate Contractor’s rights under this Master Contract. All of Contractor’s obligations to Enterprise Services and Purchasers survive termination of Contractor’s rights under this Master Contract, until such obligations have been fulfilled.

  • TERMINATION, SUSPENSION OR ABANDONMENT 9.1 This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon not less than seven (7) calendar days' prior written notice should the other party fail substantially to perform in accordance with the terms of this Agreement through no fault of the party initiating the termination.
