Common use of Discharge, Suspension or Other Actions of Discipline Clause in Contracts

Discharge, Suspension or Other Actions of Discipline. (a) If an employee believes he or she has been unjustly discharged, the matter will be taken up as a special grievance under Article 4.02 of this Agreement. Any such grievance shall be referred to the Manager within three (3) working days after the employee has been advised that he or she has been discharged from the Employer and the matter shall be disposed of within seven (7) working days from the time the Manager received notice of the grievance, except where a case is taken to Arbitration.
