Discrete-time behaviour Sample Clauses

Discrete-time behaviour. The behaviour at an event at timet e is described by following discrete equations: m(te) :=f m x(te),˙x(te),y(t e),m pre(te),p,c(t e) (2) pre c(te) :=f e mB(te),m B (te),p B,rel(v(t e)) (3) An eventfires if any of the conditionsc(t e)change fromfalsetotrue. The vector-valued functionf m specifies new values for the discrete variablesm(t e). The vectorc(t e)is defined by the vector-valued functionf e, which contains all Booleancondition expressions evaluated at the most recent eventt e;rel(v(t e)) = rel([x(t);˙x(t);y(t);t;m(t e);m pre(te);p])is a Boolean-typed vector-valued func- tion containing variablesv i,e.g.,v 1 >v 2,v 3 ≥0;m B(te)is a vector of discrete-time variables of typeBoolean,m B(te)⊆m(t e), andm B (te)are the values ofm B pre immediately before the current event at event instantt e;p constants of typeBoolean,p B ⊆p. B are parameters and Simulation means that an initial value problem (IVP) is solved. The equations define a DAE which may have discontinuities and a variable structure, and may be controlled by a discrete-event system.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where InterGlobe has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to InterGlobe. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for InterGlobe (e.g. hairpinning):

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

  • Coffee Breaks The Company will provide two (2) fifteen (15) minute coffee breaks during each work day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • Influenza Vaccine Upon recommendation of the Medical Officer of Health, all employees shall be required, on an annual basis to be vaccinated and or to take antiviral medication for influenza. If the costs of such medication are not covered by some other sources, the Employer will pay the cost for such medication. If the employee fails to take the required medication, she may be placed on an unpaid leave of absence during any influenza outbreak in the home until such time as the employee has been cleared by the public health or the Employer to return to the work environment. The only exception to this would be employees for whom taking the medication will result in the employee being physically ill to the extent that she cannot attend work. Upon written direction from the employee’s physician of such medical condition in consultation with the Employer’s physician, (if requested), the employee will be permitted to access their sick bank, if any, during any outbreak period. If there is a dispute between the physicians, the employee will be placed on unpaid leave. If the employee gets sick as a reaction to the drug and applies for WSIB the Employer will not oppose the application. If an employee is pregnant and her physician believes the pregnancy could be in jeopardy as a result of the influenza inoculation and/or the antiviral medication she shall be eligible for sick leave in circumstances where she is not allowed to attend at work as a result of an outbreak. This clause shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with the Ontario Human Rights Code.
