Lunch Breaks. The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.
Lunch Breaks. All eight (8) hour and ten (10) hour shift Employees shall be entitled to an unpaid thirty (30) minute lunch break. The lunch break will normally be around the fifth (5th) hour of the shift.
Lunch Breaks. Lunch breaks shall be one (1) hour of paid time. If the supervisor is not allowed one hour to eat, the supervisor will be compensated for a maximum of one hour or the difference between the time used for lunch and one hour.
Lunch Breaks. All bargaining unit employees shall receive a paid lunch period of forty-five (45) minutes.
Lunch Breaks. A period during the scheduled shift during which the employee remains on continual duty and is responsible for assigned duties.
Lunch Breaks. A regularly-scheduled workday shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work within a maximum nine (9) hour period, interrupted by an unpaid meal break of not less than one- half (1/2) hour.
Lunch Breaks. All employees covered by the Agreement who work four (4) hours a day or more shall be provided an uninterrupted daily unpaid thirty (30) minute lunch break to be scheduled at approximately the halfway point on their work schedule. The unpaid lunch break may be extended for a period of not longer than one (1) hour as determined by the District. Unless the employee is relieved of all duty during the specified lunch break, such break shall be considered an “on duty” meal period and counted as time worked. An “on duty” meal period shall be permitted only when the nature of the work prevents an employee from being relieved of all duty.
Lunch Breaks. The Department shall continue the existing lunch and break arrangements. If the Department determines that an adjustment to lunch and/or breaks is necessary to solve any significant public service or operational problems caused by the AWS Plan, the local union shall be given the opportunity to bargain on such changes in working conditions.
Lunch Breaks. Employees scheduled to work 7 hours or more per day will be entitled to a ½ hour paid lunch break. Employees who work less than 7 hours will not be given paid break time. (i.e. an employee scheduled to work 6 hours per day is not entitled to a paid break, therefore if such an employee takes or is scheduled for a ½ hour lunch break during their day, they would be required to be at work for a total of 6 ½ hours, but paid for only 6 hours.)
Lunch Breaks. Lunch breaks are not considered "time worked" and shall not be included when calculating the workday. Actual timing and duration of the lunch break shall be determined by the Department Manager/Director, but in no instance shall it be less than thirty (30) minutes.
